The short version

CleanPhotos collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no server. Apart from the App Store purchase, which iOS handles, the app makes no network requests at all.

Your photos

Finding duplicates means looking at your photo library, so the app asks for photo access.

The app never deletes anything on its own.

What is stored on your iPhone

So that a second scan does not start from scratch, the app keeps an analysis cache on the device: feature data for your photos, sharpness scores, and the identifiers iOS uses internally. It also stores your purchase status and today's free-allowance count.

All of it lives in the app's own sandbox, where no other app can reach it. Deleting the app deletes all of it. There is nothing for us to delete on your behalf, because we never had it.

No third-party code

The app contains no third-party SDKs — no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, no attribution. This is not a promise about our conduct; it is how the app is built.

Purchases

Unlocking the app is a one-time purchase, handled by Apple's App Store. We never see and cannot obtain your payment method, billing address, or Apple Account details. The system tells the app exactly one thing: whether the Apple Account on this device has already purchased.

Children

CleanPhotos collects no data from anyone, including children.
