KeyVox turns text you type into a voice message spoken in your own cloned voice. This policy explains what we handle.

What we process: When you tap the mic, your typed text is sent to our server and forwarded to our text-to-speech provider (Cartesia) to generate audio; we do not store it afterward. If you create a custom voice, your recording is uploaded and forwarded to Cartesia only to create that voice. The keyboard's Full Access is used only to pass typed text to the app for synthesis — we do not log or transmit anything else you type. Your settings and voice ids are stored on device and synced across your devices via Apple iCloud. Subscriptions are processed by Apple and managed via RevenueCat; we receive only subscription status, not payment details. What we do not do: We do not sell your data, do not read what you type in other apps, and do not build advertising profiles. Third parties: Cartesia (text-to-speech), RevenueCat (subscriptions), Apple (purchases and iCloud). Data retention: Text for synthesis is not kept after processing. Voice recordings are kept only to maintain your cloned voice; deleting a voice in the app removes it. Your choices: Delete a cloned voice anytime, disable iCloud sync in iOS Settings, or cancel a subscription in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Contact: [email protected] Last updated: 2026-06-11
